There are no catches. The business phone system industry is extremely competitive with lots of hidden costs and surprises that are often devastating to the small business community. This is our way of standing out. We are a "for profit" company and we do anticipate our small business customers will one day go on to become the enterprises of the future and this is our way of getting our foot in the door. In a nutshell our free customers are being subsidized by our paying enterprise customers and one day we hope you'll be the reason why we're able to continue providing this amazing service to the ones that appreciate it the most.
What level of service and quality can I expect?add_circle_outline
Your service will be exactly the same as our enterprise customers with all the same features and functionalities hosted on one of the most prestigious, expensive, data centers in the world: Equinix. The big difference between the paid and free plans is the type of support you'll receive. Paid plans have access to 24/7 dedicated US based account managers. Free plans receive 7 days a week live support by email and chat.
What's the difference to other VoIP providers or my local phone provider?add_circle_outline
Nothing in most respects. You'll be able to do everything you do today and likely much more. Your local phone provider likely is using a cloud based PBX behind the scenes. OfficePhone can only make your phone experience better. Everything works and functions exactly like any other phone service provided by any other provider.

Yes and yes and its included for everyone on all plans for free. We also have a world class designed desktop application for free for Windows / Mac.

Yes. You can use your current devices or you can buy new Polycom or Yealink from us.

What costs might I incur on the free plan?add_circle_outline
The free plan is free as long as you have 20 or less users. It includes unlimited minutes and texting; incoming or outgoing. There are no taxes or hidden fees. If you have a toll free number and receive inbound calls you will incur 2.9 cents per minutes. This is industry standard because the carriers charge us. International calling will also have per minute fees depending on the country you are calling. Inbound calls from all countries is included free. The free plan includes 1 free main company number. Additional dedicated numbers will be $5 per month per number.
